Beautiful Losers by Aaron Rose
The Beautiful Losers documentary celebrates the spirit behind one of the most influential cultural moments of a generation.
In the early 1990′s a loose-knit group of likeminded outsiders found common ground at a little NYC storefront gallery. Rooted in the DIY (do-it-yourself) subcultures of skateboarding, surf, punk, hip hop & graffiti, they made art that reflected the lifestyles they led. Developing their craft with almost no influence from the shitstem art world, this group, and the subcultures they sprang from, have now become a movement that has been transforming pop culture.

Agostinho da Silva – Ele próprio
“Agostinho da Silva – Ele Próprio” is an unpublished work, resulting from transcription of a video recorded by António Escudeiro in the 90s. This video has been, until now, “kept in the trunk”, until the Holy Spirit made it grow wings, fly and find its reason for existence. According to the desire of the same, both the DVD included as the words of the text are completely faithful to the original: no mounts, no corrections.
These images and these words are thus a reflection of Agostinho da Silva, his creative spirit and his original thinking, the testimony of one of the greatest thinkers of the Portuguese’s twentieth century. This book and DVD are in portuguese.
